Who we are

Providing Knowledge and Skills to Build a Better Future

The Academy of Building Industries (AOBI) is a public charter high school geared towards the vocational trades.  High school students, grades 9-12, work towards their high school diploma by following the academic graduation requirements, while focusing on a trade to complete their elective credits. In the end they receive their high school diploma, as well as the possibility of a certificate in the trade they’ve specialized in. AOBI gives tri-state area students a school choice. It allows parents to be involved in the future success of their student, and their student be in control of their future.

Vision Statement

Our mission at the Academy of Building Industries is to provide the opportunity for students who have become behind in credits (credit recovery) a high school education focused on the academic and technical skills necessary for graduation, and to excel in a lifetime career in vocational trades.
