Our great staff
Jean took her role as principal shortly after the school opened in the 2004-05 school year. Holding a Masters in Educational
Leadership and a Bachelors of Science in Education with Emphasis in Art from Northern Arizona University, she is always looking for new and creative ways to keep others encouraged and inspired. Her first administrative actions included making changes to the school that would break the mold and create an environment that was unlike more traditional high schools. With a smaller student population, Jean was able to execute her goal to establish a family-like atmosphere that students feel comfortable learning in, feel more than just a number in, and feel like they belong in.
Jean’s views remain her focus through today and the AoBI family continues to grow. Word of mouth from current students to that of potential students and their friends is one of the most valuable tools used for recruitm
ent. Her continuous dedication to supporting a strong team of staff helps ensure the students utilization of that tool in the
ents will talk with their friends, their parents, and others about a school they enjoy attending.
